Never forget
Reblogged from Personal Perceptions:
The Memorial to the murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin during wintertime. The memorial for the 6 million Jews was designed by architect Peter Eisenmann. It consists of 2711 concrete slabs of heights varying from 0.2 and 4.8 meters (8 in to 15 ft 9 in). The stelae are designed to produce an uneasy, confusing atmosphere, and the whole sculpture aims to represent a supposedly ordered system that has lost touch with human reason.

The trouble is, the World carries on with atrocities. The Human Race never seems to learn. Somebody’s always got it in for somebody else.
